thought in mind - to be a different type of dealership. We know motorcycling is about more than the machine, it's about
the people who ride. This attitude has helped us build the best motorcycling community in New England and New York.

Team Lyle Garden State Rally is a charity motorcycle event. It is an 8 hour scavenger
hunt, on motorcycles, all within the borders of NJ, The Garden State! Description Date October 13, 9 AM to 5 PM Donation $30 per rider, $40 two
up Free food at the end!
This is a charity motorcycle Scavenger hunt, also known as a rally. The concept is
simple. On the day of the rally, all riders will meet at in Branchburg, NJ.
Each rider will be given a book with bonus locations. Each bonus location is worth some amount of points. You
have 8 hours to ride to as many bonus locations as possible, and either take a picture or answer a question and get back to
the starting point. There is no set route. Each rider is free to choose which bonuses they want to pursue and
how many. There is not a minimum nor maximum number of bonuses you can collect.
This is not a race, your
mileage will be checked and there is a 400 450 mile cap on mileage to make sure there is no unwarranted speeding. Mileage cap raised slightly to allow for one of our special bonuses, to be announced at rider's meeting. Again,
this is a cap, not a minimum nor are you expected to ride this far in a given day. Many rallies have been won by people
riding the least miles, but riding to a lot of bonus points and being efficient!
All riding will be within the state of NJ. All bonuses are related to NJ and the
history of our great state.
There will also be several themes, music, tourist traps, history,
odd sites, etc. NJ has a lot of cool stuff within the borders. You can follow a theme, pick and choose from each, or
ignore the themes all together. The ride you ride is completely up to you. Some people will ride less than 100
miles and some will ride right up to the limit and everything in between.
Every participant
will receive a T-Shirt and Rally Towel (a towel with the logo of our rally and a number. This towel must be in all pictures.)
Top 3-5 finishers will receive prizes and trophies. Our sponsors are providing great prizes and swag for our riders,
so everyone will get something. Keep an eye on the site for a listing of the prizes.
All you need to participate is a motorcycle and the willingness to have fun. The only extras you will need are a camera
(cell phone camera is OK) a pen or two and some place to put them (backpack, tank bag, saddle bag). This is not a long distance
rally. There is no minimum mileage, only a max.
8/21/2012 Updates and fun! We will be using facebook, email and smartphones to help make this rally interesting and different. These are
completely optional and offer no advantage to the competitors. For those who choose to use this
option, here is how it will work: - Go to a photo bonus point
- Take
a picture of the bonus
- Take a picture of your odometer
- Send an
email to an address (revealed at rider's meeting), with your rider number and the bonus number as the subject
- Attach the two pictures
- Send!
The photos will automatically
appear on the facebook page. That will allow your friends and family to follow your progress as well as allowing the
Rally Master and Mistress get a head start on scoring. Final scoring will happen at the judges table and this method
gives no advantage to rally participants. Just makes it a bit easier if we have the pictures ahead of time. We
will have a good idea of which bonii which competitors have visited, and if they have grabbed good pictures. This method is not an all or nothing. You can do this for some, none or all of the bonuses. Again, it
is just a different way of enjoying the rally!
